Short version: we collect what you send us so we can quote your job, we keep it on our email and on this website’s host, we don’t sell it to anybody, and you can ask us to delete it. Last updated August 17, 2026.
Almost everything we hold about you is something you typed or told us yourself.
This policy covers saxtonearthworksllc.com and the way Saxton Earthworks LLC handles information from people who contact us through it. We’re a small owner-operated earthwork business in Titusville, Florida. Not a marketing company, and we have no interest in your data beyond doing the job you asked about.
When you fill in the quote form, we receive whatever you put in it. Typically your name, email address, phone number, the location or description of the property, notes about the work, and any photos you upload. If you call, text or email us instead, we have whatever you told us that way.
You choose what to send. If you’d rather not put your address in a web form, describe the area and call us.
Like any website, this one sits on a web host that keeps standard server logs. IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. That’s ordinary hosting infrastructure and we don’t build anything on top of it.
WordPress, which runs this site, may set functional cookies. We haven’t installed any advertising, retargeting or analytics trackers. If that changes we’ll say so here and change the date at the top of this page rather than quietly adding it.
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to a Google server when a page loads. That request carries your IP address to Google under their terms, not ours. We mention it because it’s the one third party involved in viewing the site.
We use what you send us to price the work, ask follow-up questions, schedule it, do it, and invoice for it. That’s the whole list. Photos of your property help us read density and access, and we may keep them on file so we can refer back if you call again about the same parcel.
Your information reaches our email inbox and is stored in this website’s database on our web host. It may pass through the ordinary service providers that make that possible. The host, the email provider, and the form software. Beyond that it stays with us.
If a job requires bringing in someone else. A hauler, a materials supplier. We share only what that person needs to do their part, such as a delivery address. We don’t hand over your file.
We may also disclose information if the law actually requires it. We’ll tell you if that happens unless we’re barred from doing so.
If you give us a phone number, we may call or text you about your job. To ask a question, confirm a price, or tell you what day we’re coming. Texting is usually the fastest way to get photos back and forth, which is why our number is listed as call or text.
Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. If you’d rather we only called, or only emailed, tell us and that’s what we’ll do. Reply STOP to any text and we’ll stop texting you.
We don’t send marketing blasts, promotions or drip campaigns, and we don’t add your number to any list. Every message you get from us will be about your own job.
We keep quote requests and job records for as long as they’re useful. People come back years later about the same property, and having the original photos saves everybody time. Records tied to work we actually performed are kept longer, because invoices and job history are business records.
You can ask us to delete what we hold about you and we will, apart from anything we’re required to keep for tax or accounting reasons. Email Saxtonearthworks@gmail.com and say so. You can also ask us what we have on file, and we’ll tell you.
We’re a small business and we’re not going to make you fill in a form to do either of these.
The site runs over HTTPS and access to the inbox and the website is limited to the people who run the business. But no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we’re not going to claim otherwise. Please don’t send us anything sensitive that we have no reason to have. We don’t need financial account details, a date of birth, or a Social Security number to quote clearing work.
This site is meant for property owners and isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we’ll delete it.
If this policy changes, the updated version goes here and the date at the top changes with it. If we ever start doing something materially different with your information. Adding analytics, for example. That’s the kind of change we’ll describe rather than bury.
This page is a plain description of how a small earthwork company actually handles the handful of things people send it. It’s not legal advice, and it’s not a substitute for the privacy notices of the third parties mentioned above.
Most quotes come back the same day. No deposit, and the price we agree on is the price you pay.
