Saxton Earthworks is Dewey Saxton and the machines he owns. That’s not a limitation we’re apologizing for. It’s the reason the person who quotes your job is the person who shows up to do it.
Most people calling about land clearing have been burned by a contractor before, or they’ve heard enough stories to be wary. So here is the whole operation, plainly.
Dewey Saxton started Saxton Earthworks in 2019, working out of Titusville. Since then the business has cleared roughly 600 acres across Brevard, Volusia, Lake, Seminole and Orange counties. Residential lots, acreage, homesite prep, driveways, pads and the drainage work that goes with them.
The machines are ours. There’s no rental markup buried in your invoice, no waiting on availability, and nobody turns up on your property in a truck you haven’t been told about. When something on site turns out differently from the photos, you’re talking to the person who can actually decide what to do about it, not to a scheduler who has to ring someone else.
It means we’re honest about scale. A quarter-acre lot, a day of grading or a single retaining wall is normal work for us and it’s welcome. At the very large end. Mass grading a subdivision, multi-machine site packages. We’ll tell you straight that the job wants a bigger outfit with more iron on it, rather than take it and run six weeks late.
We’d rather turn down a job than do it badly. That’s easier to say than to do, and it’s most of what separates a business you’d call twice from one you wouldn’t.
Our per-acre rates are published on the site, which almost nobody in this market does. Not because we’re the cheapest. We’re usually mid-market. But because making people call to find out what something costs wastes their time and ours. If our number doesn’t work for you, you have found that out in thirty seconds instead of after three days of phone tag.
No fleet graphics, no call center. This is who turns up.

None of these are unusual. They’re just written down, which is rarer than it should be.
On reviews.
We don’t have a wall of testimonials on this site, and the reason is simple: we’d have to write them ourselves. The business has real customers and real jobs behind it, but a review section built out of invented quotes is worth less than nothing, and most people can spot one anyway.
When there are genuine reviews to show, they will go up with names attached. Until then, the pricing is published, the process is written down, and you can call and ask for a reference on a job like yours.

Most quotes come back the same day. No deposit, and the price we agree on is the price you pay.
